How Geocaching Works
This cache is hidden in the Beverly Gardens Park.
We tried to make this a hide different than any other one in the area.
You will have to make a 3/8 mile walk from the parking spot, walking along an old access road. I don't recommending driving on. The last 100 ft will involve some bushwacking.
In the summer months this cache will be even more difficult when the vegetation in the area is in full growth.
The cache itself is starting out containing a couple of travel coins and a custom made Stainless Steel TeamBecks Necklace that can also be made into a key chain if desired.
The cache contains a log book and pencil and room for small trading items.
After making the find please replace the cache as found.
Permission was granted by the Cedar Rapids Parks Superintendent but he did state that they don't actively maintain the gardens anymore to a road project.
