Geocache Description:

Cache is a small lock n lock containing small items, log and pencil. It is located outside the fence of The Salvation Army's Army Lake Camp.

Army Lake Camp is owned and operated by The Salvation Army as one of it’s ministries to youth and adults. The camp consists of 200 acres of thick woodlands and manicured grounds that feature a magnificent spring-fed lake and an array of state-of-the-art facilities. Completely out of the way and serene, Army Lake Camp offers the perfect environment to relax, enjoy, learn and celebrate.

Staff provide top-quality, affordable group events and functions. Each year, more than 2,000 guests from all over visit Army Lake Camp & Retreat Center. Army Lake Camps services and facilities offer a wide range of options for those seeking a weekend or full week get-away, for corporate events, trainings, senior class trips, conferences, meetings, picnics, retreats, family reunions, weddings, banquets and a variety of overnight accommodations for up to 425 guests.

Programs offered include: High Ropes, Low Ropes / Teambuilding, Climbing, Swimming, Canoeing, Orienteering (Map & Compass), GPS / Geocaching, Firestarting, Knots, Wilderness Camping, Tree Identification, Marsh Ecology, Mammals, Insects, Weather, Aquatic Biology, Riflery, Paintball, Archery, Crafts, Music, Sports and many more.
