This is the Waco area edition of the recently successful event by the same name in Austin, by Mrs. Captain Picard.
I thought the idea was just too good not to have our own event like it here in our area. The Austin event resulted in 31 new caches for that area.
Everybody needs to bring a film canister disguised to NOT LOOK LIKE a film canister. If you bring recognizable film canisters, you may be booed out of the event. Don't EVEN THINK about bringing a camo taped film canister. I'll personally throw you out myself.
The ones I have found in Austin are VERY creative, so this is a chance for Waco area cachers to raise the bar on creative containers!
We'll have fun seeing all the caches, then we'll TRADE caches with another cacher, preferably someone you don't know. Sometime after the event you will go out and hide the cache and give credit to its creator. This way, we get to see some fun caches, meet new people and soon our area will have a whole bunch of new caches for us to hunt this fall without having to go out of town.
See how GREAT THIS IS!!!! PLUS, if you don't come to the event, you won't have seen all of the caches, and you'll have to find them on your own.
This event will be hosted at Sawdust’s place. The pool is still up and running, this might be your last chance to swim before it gets too cool. So bring your skimpy bikinis and Speedos if you dare!!!
There will be Hot dogs and nachos. Bring the beverage of your choice. Yes, beer is allowed!!!
