Geocache Description:

The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This is a good distinction to put on this type of cache and would like to see it used here in Michigan. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours, Only visit cemeteries dawn to dusk through out the state unless other hours are posted, so that we do not end up like other states that do not allow any caches placed in any cemeteries!

This cache will take you to what would be considered a small cemetery. It may look as though it is a part of the cemetery next door but it is not. There are many interesting things to see here. You start by passing by a memorial to the Jewish people that were killed by the hands of Adolph Hitler. I would suggest stopping and reading the memorial.

The next interesting aspects that you will see on your way to the cache, is that this small cemetery is a collection of groups of people. These groups are their own smaller cemeteries. Many of these smaller cemeteries have gateways that are represented with the name of the groups cemetery others do not. My count on these including the children’s area was 13 but it maybe more than that.

Stage 1 will take you to one of the most interesting grave and grave marker that I had seen here. Once you have found the grave marker, it will be obvious which one it is, you will be looking for the age at death. Using that number you will take the complete whole number and doubling it.

With this number add it to the co-ords here.

N42 32.488
W082 54.027

You will be searching for a small lock-n-lock container that is very near the path. Do not search Staurday's and the grave sites. If that is where the co-ords take you please recheck your work.
