This cache will exercise your creative writing skills as well as your caching skills.
As a child, I enjoyed writing stories using Storybook Weaver and its successor, Storybook Weaver Deluxe. I managed to save a couple of my masterpieces and reading them years later, I noticed how heavily they rely on illustrations to tell the story. So I got to thinking... how much better could these stories be if I had focused on the writing instead of throwing 50 clip art dinosaurs on every page?
This is where you come in. I know from reading logs that a lot of you are VERY creative writers, and I also enjoy finding caches where the logs are more than just signatures. I've always done some of my best thinking in the woods, so I'm hoping the location allows you to relax and get your weirdest and wildest ideas from brain to paper.
There are 2 books and a pencil in the container. You don't have to add to the first book, but the cache will be more fun if you do! I've started it with the beginning of a story I wrote in SBW Deluxe. Read it. (If you think a 4th grader could do a better job, that's because I wrote the story in 3rd grade.) Then add at least a sentence to the story. Finally, open the log book and sign it - I know you're all experts at that. Hopefully this story's better the second time around!
