Discover This... Traditional Geocache
Lactodorum: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll consider unarchiving it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

The location of the cache is in the grounds of Thatcham Discovery Centre, which offers free parking (coordinates N51° 24.010 W001° 16.459), WC facilities, children’s play park and a café. The route to the cache is gravelled making it buggy friendly and easy walking for young children. On your way to the cache there is an opportunity to feed the ducks and observe other wildlife
This geocache has been put together for two boys aged 4 and 2. These boys suffer from a rare skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa which means that their skin is much more delicate than yours or mine. Despite their condition the boys really enjoy visiting the Thatcham Discovery Centre and finding geocaches, which they call “treasure boxes”. Both boys decided that they would like a treasure box of their own to check and stock on a regular basis. Therefore the contents of this box has been focused on children and contains some of the boys “I support DEBRA bands” which if you take one please leave a charitable donation in the purse provided – all donations will go to the DEFRA foundation. To find out more about DEBRA and the boys skin condition please visit the DEBRA website www.debra.org.uk. Contained within the box is also a logbook for you to log your visit, a camera to take a photo, and lots of interesting treasures to swap.
