California multi-use area is still virtually untouched by hikers, bikers, hunters, even muggles.
Come enjoy a moderate hike in the country! From the parking area, start at the stop sign and make your way up the wood road. No reason to stray or bushwhack off trail until you're within a hundred feet. The hide is fairly simple and designed to let you explore in a new area, but not meant to be difficult. Parking available off Gordon Road, well marked with the "California Hill Multi-Use" sign, even though it looks like a road to nowhere.
Remember to watch your footing, check for ticks and above all be safe and have a good walk!
