Easy find within view of a Wind Sock.
Rocky Glen Grommets have 2 Air Socks, located "on the leg" and decided they would like to have a brother to Air Socks - hence Wind Sock for the Eyre Peninsula. Wanted to set up a cache cos theyv'e had so much fun locating caches set up by locals.
Air Socks are vital to small country communities - it is one way of transporting in cases of emergencies. This facitlity appears to be first rate - well maintained and a short distance from town.

Having found the other windsock, we just HAD to stop and make the short detour for this one as well . Easy find on this quiet new year’s day on our way back to Adelaide from Perth.

It was nice to see the local countryside greening up on the drive to this cache.
Very windy when I was there.
Picked up the Balloon geocoin, left little turtle.

A drive by... or rather a fly by! Nice breese today... the elephant's trunk was horizontal.... they say it is good luck if the end is turned up!! :D What?? no luck today?
