Geocache Description:

Linden NJ

I woke up on my birthday (9/13) logged on to geocaching.com and looked at how many hides I have and I've realized I'm reaching a milestone hide (my 10th) so what better day to put out a milestone hide than my 1/4 century milestone (25th birthday)

This cache is located on a street that runs along the GM Assembly Plant in Linden, NJ. My father worked at this Assembly Plant in the early to mid 90s as a carhaul mechanic. At that time GM could not make enough cars but by mid 2005 the plant was closed, but unlike the Ford Plant in Edison, there are no plans to dismantle this plant, so maybe auto assembly will return to New Jersey. The cache is a lock-n-lock approx 8"x6". Happy Caching!!!!!
