Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of places I grew up around. Here you will find Monumental Mountain, a high summit that overlooks the Columbia River to the west and the Colville Valley to the east. The summit used to be home to a fire lookout tower, but is now full of radio antennas.

The cache is a small ammo can. It has a logbook, writing instruments and some trading items.

Best approach is from the Orin-Rice Road at 48 27.362 118 01.976. It's a fairly nice gravel but washboarded road to the top. The road will be snow-free from mid-May through October/November. Winter will require alternate transportation and perhaps a shovel.
