Geocache Description:

A short walk (about 3km for the round trip) around the village of Histon, taking in a few of the local sights. The end can be a bit muddy.

The co-ordinates take you to the starting point on Histon village green. You should be able to park within a few metres of the start. You are looking for a memorial to local historian Ken Oates who was born in 19AB and died in 19CD. The memorial was restored in 19EF. Now head along Station Road to:

N52 1F.C3F E000 06.B2(D+5)

How many days was our unfortunate heroine buried for (G)? Now find the footpath sign at:

N52 14.9(G-8)G E000 06.4(G-3)(G-7)

In total, how many quarter-mile steps does the Histon Giant have to take to get to Girton (H)? Follow the footpath towards:

N52 1H.00(H+2) E000 05.G(H-1)(H+2)

The woods were planted to commemorate the JK anniversary of the Women’s Institute and are dedicated to the memory of Joan Smail who was born in 19LM and died in 200N. They mean a lot to Spicefamily, as we helped to plant them. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. The cache is a small Tupperware container situated at:

N52 14.(J+2)(L+7)K E000 05.M(N+2)(M-1)
