This cache, a 1L screw top plastic canister, is located approximately 25km North from the township of Kimba, through farming land and past the Pilepudla Dam. From here it is approximately 2km on dirt track that is accessible by most vehicles, if my station wagon can do it, most cars can. You will need to drive to the following co-ordinates which are the start of a walking trail;
S - 32° 56.328’
E - 136° 24.459’
Please follow the yellow painted trail markers to the cache, so as not to damage the environment. This is 2.6km walk in total, it will take approximately one hour, passing up one valley between two hills to the “Botenella Native Well”. A rock-hole is also passed on the way that was used in the early days as a water source for travellers from the station country in the north, travelling to the to township of Cowell on the eastern Eyre Peninsula. Along the way there are several opportunities to take some wonderful scenic photos of the area. The terrain is rough and hilly, but if my wife can do it, I would imagine that anyone can if you have a basic level of fitness. Please wear appropriate footwear as the ants, prickles and snakes may be a problem. Mostly the ants and prickles. It is advised that each person takes a bottle of water as well, especially on hot days, as there is no water available along the trail.
REMEMBER: BE PREPARED, WALK SAFELY
• Wear a hat, sturdy footwear and protective clothing
• Never walk alone
• Carry ample water, 1 litre per person per hour.

Contents include, log book and pencil, pen, fridge magnet, thong key ring, fortune teller toy.
