How Geocaching Works

Please note

Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Small almost micro cache, can drive up to less than a foot away.

There is nothing special about this cache. Cache contains some various state quarters and a log.

When you get done signing the log take a moment and look up slightly to the north west. This is a grain elevator used to make livestock feed.

This elevator was completed in the summer of 1947. Then on October 12th, 1961 it burned down. It was then rebuilt and completed in the summer of 1962 in time for the summer harvest of local grain. A photo of the elevator burning can be seen up on the wall at the store just south of the cache.

This is probably the tallest building in Jackson County. The other uses for the building is to hold a couple of big antenna's up at the top and act as a roost for the local pigeons.
