Geocache Description:

Located in an urban park that is still semi-secret as it is off the beaten path. A two-stage offset cache -- find the first container and get directions to the second.

The first is a little larger than an Altoid box (but it is NOT a tin box). The second container is larger and should be pretty easy to see once you have the coordinates. There is room for some decent size trades and Travel Bugs here.

GeoJack

is the geocaching nick for our dog, Jack the schnauzer. He loves this place more than anywhere else on Earth, and goes absolutely berserk when he knows we're headed there. If someone mentions the words "doggy park" in any context at our house, we need to be ready to GO. NOW.

The first container is no approximately 300 yards from the second.

I wanted to try out a container for a cache, but I don't really like to hide microcaches, so I did this one as an offset. The first container is small and (I think) devishly hard to find. The second is much larger and is (I think) angelically easy to find (once you have the coordinates, of course). The coordinates for the second container are found in the first.

There are a bunch of great trade items in the large container, including some school supplies, a Star Wars toy, some other random things we found in the car. We'll be adding doggy trade items as the weeks go on and I buy some. Feel free to trade any items, but dog trade items would be appreciated.

If you have a pooch, you can't come here without him or her. Come in the late afternoon -- 4:30 or later -- and you'll get to meet 20-40 of our favorite canine friends (and their humans, of course). Look for GeoJack -- he's the little black schnauzer that is running in a frenzy or sitting on my lap (he's kind of insecure sometimes!!). We're there at various times in the day -- sometimes at 8:30, but regularly around 4:30-5. We look forward to meeting you.
