This Daughter Went to the Tower Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Deceangi: Archived at the request of the Landowner, who is unhappy that their property is being used as part of a game.

The Forestry Commission are Tenants of the Land, the Landowner (whom I have confirmed is genuine) is the Freeholder, and has not granted FC North Wales permission to allow access to the General Public. The Landowner has also stated that access is across their property, which the General Public does not have access to.

As such I have no option but to Comply with the Landowner and not the Tenants Requirements.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

Geocache Description:

This daughter cache is a micro cache located near to Lady Emily's Tower, which is situated on a rocky outcrop to the west of Gwrych Castle.

To celebrate their milestone, the 100th cache placed by Team Marzipan was called The Mother Cache (GC15RYZ). The object of The Mother Cache is for finders to take one of the ready-prepared caches, BUT ONLY if they are going to hide it as a Daughter Cache.

This daughter cache can be reached from Abergele or Rhyd y Foel and makes a lovely walk with fantastic views when linked with other caches nearby. In summer the signal may be poor due to tree cover. For more information about Gwrych Castle and Lady Emily's Tower see The Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust website
