Under the shade of the Coolibah Tree Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

inspicio: There was an agreement about the time taken to action and fix maintenance with your remote caches.

This has gone well over that time already and your plan for the future maintenance is too long into the future and is even longer than what was agreed so cache is archived.

Geocache Description:

In Simpson Desert, near "The Lone Gum", typical local bush.

Container is now a 200ml sistema with log, writing stick, and a few swaps. This is a beautiful desert area, but can be fatal if not treated with respect. This cache is NOT accessible by conventional vehicle – it should only be attempted by a sturdy 4WD, preferably in company with others. Do NOT enter the area during the summer months. Consult recognised authorities for advice, then heed that advice. Flies can be a real curse, and the area is home to the Fierce Snake, also called the western or inland taipan, or the small-scaled snake. This snake produces the most toxic venom of any snake world-wide, and one was seen not far from the cache area.
