This cache is located near the Goshen Salt Playas, along the
highway to Goshen.
I first learned about the salt playas in an ecology class. They are
pretty interesting, although more spectacular looking in summer
when there is a layer of white salt on the ground. What's really
amazing is the plants that grow here, called halophytes because
they can deal with the salt. The cache is an ammo box, and most of
the original contents more or less relate to the theme, in whatever
obscure way. You don't have to trade salty stuff, just cool stuff.
