Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

The coordinates given above are for parking at the trailhead for Turkey Spur Trail. The rangers at Pipestem are very concerned about environmental damage caused by off-trail activity. All Pipestem caches are located within 50 feet of the trail. Do not attempt to bushwhack to this or any Pipestem cache.
The staff of Pipestem Resort request that you check in at the Nature Center to receive a copy of the coordinates for all seven of the Lost Caches of Pipestem Resort. Hours for the Nature Center are: Summer: Tuesday – Sunday 11:00 am to 4:30 pm Winter Saturday 12:30 – 4:30 Sunday 10:30 – 2:30 Spring and Fall Wednesday – Sunday 12:30 – 4:30 If you call ahead (304-466-1800) we will attempt to make special arrangements to provide you with the coordinates. The Turkey Spur Trail is actually an old logging road. Because it is broad and smooth, turkeys are often encountered on this walkway. No bikes allowed. No FTF on this one. Iwillfind has bragging rights. He visited it over a year ago!

After a car show, my father and I went out to do some geocaching. One of the logs nearby looks hollowed out by human hands, so that threw us off for a little while. However, in the end, we were quite successful. We found four that day and this was our last one.

Me and my friend went looking for the trail head instead of the cache when we went to the nature center we got the cache cords. and went looking again. , and found it. My GPS said it was 400 and some feet from the posted cords. (the one from the nature center), to help someone out. TFTC!!!
