East of Cadiz Dunes in the southern California desert.
The cache is along the old Cadiz-Rice road at the junction of the
road to Cadiz Dunes. Cache it right along the road on the east side
under a small rock pile in plain view. Be sure to rehide the cache
well so people passing by won't notice it. Original cache contents
include a small Bushnell pocket monocular, a Gumby family, a lady
bug magnifier, Chinese face paint cards, a fresh tin of citrus sour
Altoids and a pickle. You don't need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the
cache but do be prepared for remote desert travel. I doubt your
cell phone will work here if you get in trouble.

Picked up a cache down the road and decided to grab this one by the dunes. Way-cool area!

Been a while since i visited this cache. I camped the night before near Cadiz and stopped by the cache today. Cache contents are sort of a mess.

This cache is so much in open that we saw several muggle entries. But, not to worry. Most muggles here appear to be good people. The cache is in good shape. We spent several hours at Cadiz dunes and drove out the long way to highway 62. TNLN.
