Geocache Description:

**Updates: A poker run is planned as part of this caching event - visit 5 or 7 of the several temporary caches places, and we'll see who has the best hand. An environmental scavenger hunt is also planned - a digital camera, or camera phone will help you with this! BRING BUG SPRAY! Popsicles or another cool treat may replace the smores due to the heat.

GEOCACHING EVENT

June 25, 2009
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Fallen Timbers Environmental Education Center (visit link)

W4531 Robin Road
Black Creek, WI 54106

Join us at Fallen Timbers – a beautiful environmental education center located on 456 acres of property, near Seymour, WI. The Wisconsin Geographic Alliance and St. Norbert College will hold this event as a meet-and-greet with an emphasis on geocaching and GIS in education. Many teachers interested in geo-tech tools would love to hear about some of the geocaching adventures from seasoned geocachers! In return, they will share with you some of the things they have learned throughout the week involving a variety of different geo-technologies! But more than anything, come enjoy the beautiful property of Fallen Timbers, and enjoy some great hikes while geocaching.

Temporary caches will be hidden, along with a permanent cache for a FTF! Other environmental games will be incorporated into the event to make it a learning experience for everyone! Coordinates will be posted for download closer to the event. If interested in helping hide temporary caches, please contact Krissy Lukens - krissy.lukens@gmail.com.

A bonfire and smores will round out the evening. Restroom and dining facilities are available. Plenty of parking! If you would like, feel free to bring your dinner or hot-dogs to roast by the fire!

This is a FREE event, but donations will be accepted to support the educational programs at Fallen Timbers.
