Geocache Description:

A unique caching location in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.

While not a difficult find, there is a challenge. You will need to be prepared as you only have less than four minutes to find, log and replace this cache in its hiding place.

This cache is probably better hunted for as a team. Have your pen ready to sign the log as the cache is too small to include one. We recommend bringing a camera for cover as geomuggles may be near.

Park on the north side of the ferry. The pilot will probably not let you walk between the vehicles. You might have to ride the ferry more than once if they direct you to the other side when you drive on.

The hula girls are removed every time the ferry goes into dry dock and we will no longer be replacing them. Use the hint if you don't see the cache right away. It should be very easy to find.

Please post all no finds.

"For the latest operating information regarding the Real McCoy and the J-Mack, please call the Ryer Island Ferry Update Line at (510) 622-0120. The phone line is updated daily or as changes occur. You can also leave a message, and your call will be returned by Caltrans staff as soon as possible."
