Geocache Description:

Nice walk down a discontinued railroad track, you have to cross a railroad trestle. Use CAUTION crossing trestle. Park at the Burnham Country Market. I wouldn't take small children across trestle. Would also use EXTREME CAUTION if attempting to find it after dark.

This cache is located at the end of the discontinued Belfast & Moosehead Line. To reach the cache you cross over the longest bridge on the line. For almost 90 years (1891-1960) passengers and mail changed trains here, and for 135 years freight to and from Waldo County was passed between the lines on the yard's exhange tracks.
The locals like to fish the river from here also.
