Geocache Description:

Saturday October 10, 2015. Barretown Recreation Facility
GEOCACHERs of all ages are WELCOME!!! Including Newbies interested in learning the game, hobby, sport, or obsession?
Ski-guide is helping out as with the event and the Geo Recognition's Awards see below.

Coffee and donuts 10 AM ish I will be there around 10 AM to start coffee.

WHERE's The Event?
We have reserved the Recreation Facility Shelter, and fire pits behind the Barretown Elementary School. There is electricity and also REST ROOMS and running water for clean-up, next to the shelter. There is plenty of parking for all and a playground for the kids.
The Recreational Area shelter is near the Barretown Elementary School in Websterville VT. at N 44* 09.858, W 72* 29.351.
Take the turn off Websterville Rd., just past the Wilson cemetery.
The turn is marked "Recreation Facility" at N 44* 10.161 W 72* 29.253. Stop in, have a bite to eat, enjoy the company and meet your fellow cachers.
Make sure to bring extra jacket, hat and gloves. It is Mid-October and the weather could be quite chily.

POTLUCK at Noon on Oct 10, 2015
We will have a large BBQ pit going from 11:30 am on, for anyone to use to cook hotdogs, burgers, steaks or whatever.
Let me know what you can bring so we don't end up with a bunch of the same stuff. As a guideline, I have used the a list from a previous year, but anything is fine.

Please No Peanuts or Tree Nut Products One of our fellow cachers has severe allergies.

GEO PHOTO CONTEST
Many of you take and post some very interesting photos of your geocaching adventures. Please submit a couple of your favorites.
Awards will be presented for:

  • Best Before Snow Photo
  • Best Snow Photo,

Photo must be Geocache related. Each cacher may submit 2 photos, 1 photo without snow (fall foliage, beachside cache, group hike, or geodog cooling off in a stream), and 1 photo with snow (anything with snow, frost covered trees, snow angels, cacher in a snow bank, mountaintop winter scene, ect. as long as it is geocache related).
Print them out, to bring them with you to the event and judging will be done at the event.

We will set an area for a TB swap, and print out some sheets for the new caches.
