Needed some freah air this afternoon so decided to grab this one off. Looked like a hunter parked in the area so we were sure to don our orange vests. Found cache with little trouble, coordinates are right on. Took play dough and left a bottle opener keychain and some mardi gras beads. SL TFTC

Started out parking at coordinates left in description (N 41 59.570 W 071 39.408). Along the way noticed a split in the trail. We went right at the split. We got within 0.15 miles of this one when GPS seemed to want to take us leftwards thru wooded thick bush. Kept following trail and GPS indicated we were moving away from cache. Jogged back down trail and went other way at split. Followed it until we were about 0.29 miles away when we started getting away from it again. GPS wanted to take us to the right thru thick bush.

Not sure what mistake we made. Is it possible we should have continued on the trail in the original direction?
