Come and join us for some friendly conversations and sharing of geocaching experiences.
WHAT: Tri-State Area Meet, Greet and Eat 5
WHEN: Sunday December 18, 2011
TIME: 1-3 p.m.
WHERE: Hy-Vee Food Store Dining Area
400 S. Locust Street, Dubuque, IA
Food is available. Each cacher is responsible for their own meals. You are not required to eat. Please make a "will attend" log so we can get a head count for the restaurant. After attending make sure you log an "attended log" to get credit for this as a find.
Again everyone is welcome to come and visit with other cachers of the area and put some faces to names we see in the logs.
Please bring along your GPSr. This will be a good time to see what equipment others are using, and maybe get some helpful hints on how to make caching easier and more fun.
If you have some interesting cache containers to share please bring them along to show others.
There will be several Door Prizes given out. If you want to give some away too , please mention them in your will attend log or just bring them along and surprise us.
There will be a log in sheet on a table somewhere. Please look for it and sign in.
There will also be a Travel Bug Table where TBs can be signed in and out. If you plan on bringing Travel Bugs to move on, please log them into the event several days early so I can generate a spreadsheet with all bug names printed on it. We don't want any to get lost.
Also please bring your signature items if you have them. And maybe some PathTags to trade.
I plan to arrive shortly after noon to eat so I will be free to talk by 1. You are welcome to join me.
Weather permitting I would like to get a group together to go caching after the event. Bring clothes for the weather if you would like to join us.
