The posted coordinates point to the Cranbrook Public Library. It is IN this building that you will find the cache. The cache is within ONE of the books on ONE of the shelves. This cache has been placed with the enthusiastic permission of the Head Librarian.
To find the correct book, without going through the whole collection, you will need to do some work to find the Dewey Decimal Number of the book and thus it’s location on the library shelves. Please note, that although collecting the necessary numbers can be done at any time and in any weather, the Library Opening Times will dictate when you are able to actually find the cache and sign the log.

You will NOT find this book in the library catalogue. Please replace the cache (book) in its correct location so it may be found by the next cacher.
Unfortunately it was decided to pull down many of Cranbrook’s historic buildings in the 1960’s and 1970’s. So much for progress! You will need to go around Cranbrook, visit these different coordinates, and collect the numbers off some of our remaining historic buildings. Once you have all the dates needed then you can transpose the numbers and that will give you the Dewey Decimal Number to enable you to find the cache.
