Getting there: Off 144: N41 12.501 W77 49.511 1st right turn: N41 13.673 W77 51.098 (Park here unless you have a higher clearance vehicle) 2nd right turn: N41 13.968 W77 51.110 Parking: N41 14.116 W77 50.941 Fishers don’t fish, contrary to the name. However, they are lightning fast and will eat just about anything they can catch and kill (one of the few predators that are quick enough to kill a porcupine). Members of the weasel family, they are second in size only to the wolverine, which doesn’t live in Pennsylvania anymore. This cache is on the site of the first fisher re-introduction in the state, back on December 19th, 1994. They have been doing quite well and can now be found across most of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
