Baja Louisiana Traditional Geocache

Cache is a plastic container which has been camouflaged to blend in with the folliage just past the entrance station.
Please use extra care when replacing and make sure the lid is snapped on to keep out moisture.

We came to Grand Isle State Park to find a cache on page 62 for the Louisisana DeLorme Challenge. Staying in the campground is a real treat--a beautiful view, constant breeze and plenty of places to enjoy nature.
An evening beach walk found us walking alongside a dolphin who was feeding in the shallow water. We were also lucky enough to see two of the island's resident bald eagles.
Tamara Augustine, Grand Isle State Park Manager, has approved this cache and will assist me in maintaining it if needed.
