This cache was a Christmas gift from Logger & Ail to us. Now that the spring is here, we finally got it placed. Please note that this is not a good cache to do in wet weather unless you like mud.
We recommend parking at: 43 11.995 N079 49.289 WYou can park closer to the "staring point" if you wish, but there are "No Parking" signs posted there - you can take your chances if you wish.The starting point is up dead-end roadway right by the entrance to the parking. (You'll know you're headed the right way when you pass a large metal eagle someone has in their yard).The starting point we used was: 43 11.905 N079 49.326 WAgain, let me say, this is not a good cache to do in wet weather - there's a lot of mud and a couple of slopes.This area looks like it's seen some serious dumping, so if you can, please bring a garbage bag and help carry out a little of the trash (someone dumped a pile of shingles, etc. there).In addition to a pencil and log book, when originally placed, this cache had the following items in it:1) First Finders pin2) Hiker's watch (clips on)3) Glowing Santa4) Geocaching Buttons5) Lanyard6) Keychain7) Whistle on a Lanyard8) CITO Container9) Playing Cards10) Fridge Shopping List11) Counterfeit detecting lightPlease - if you take something, then please leave something. And please don't put unsafe items in the cache like knives, cigarettes, matches, lighters, etc. And please don't put food items inside.
