Don't forget to bring bread for the ducks..... Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

The Chaos Crew: Retrieved cache this morning.

Unfortunately it seems it has been muggled, probably by kids - there were some obscenities and anatomically correct drawings in the log book, that I am pretty sure were not the work of geocachers :)

I am guessing that it was the muggles that didn't seal the container properly - thus allowing it to get waterlogged - and also left it so out in the open.

I am archiving this location, as if they have sussed the location they might well disturb it again.

The cache container is still in perfect nick, though, so I shall rehide it elsewhere in the near future.

Sorry this one was so short-lived.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Chaos Crew’s first cache - enjoy :)

This should be a nice one to do with small children, as there is not too much of a long walk involved, they will enjoy helping you solve the puzzle, and there are ducks to feed, a little shop nearby to buy an ice cream in, and a playground less than 5 minutes away (walk down the road from the cache site to the railway bridge, go down the ramp and to your left, then turn right up the little alley, left up to the crossroads and the playpark is on your right)

The cache location is by a small pond, it can get a little muddy up there sometimes, so do take wellies if it is/has been raining.

The container is a small camouflaged box that is quite stiff to open, you need to lever it open by pushing the tab on the lid up with your thumb.  Please close it tightly once you are done to keep it waterproof.  There is room inside for small trade items and trackables.  I have stuffed it full of nice goodies to start it off, please do try to maintain the quality of the cache by trading items you would like to find yourself.

First To Find prize is a trackable (but as yet unactivated) FTF geocoin.  I will also occasionally use this cache as a dropping off point for trackables of my own, and am starting this tradition by launching a geocoin whose mission is to visit the lands of the Celts.

The co-ordinates listed are NOT the location of the cache, although the cache is close by.  They are the location of a suggested parking spot (room for 2/3 cars) at the entrance to the pond area.  Alternatively you could park in the car park of the Londis shop a short distance along the same road.
