Geocache Description:

Bring a BOOK and park just off the Niagara Parkway at the Feather in the Glen shop. Head past the picnic area and down the steal stairs. Please do not try to go down the side of the glen at any other point. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR BOOKS!

BOOKS! BOOOOOKS! This is a BOOK THEMED cache, so bring your books to trade! Yes I'm crazy to have put buckets of books out in the Glen but it has worked so far. Don't be afraid that there won't be room for your book.

BUG SPRAY!! you will need it, thank me later.
WATER!! bring from home, the shop up top is often closed.
GOOD SHOES!! make a difference down here.
BOOKS!!! did I already remind you to bring your BOOKS?
THE HINT AND CODE!!! good chance you'll need it, I was a tricky girl!

Camera!! not necessary but if you have one and forget it you will be sad, it is very beautiful down here.

Rules: Most of you know but so there can be no accidents;

1)Don't put in that really terrible book you never finished reading. If you thought it was awful we probably will too.
2)Please don't take a book if you don't put one in, even if you intent to come back with one later or leave something else.

There is now a brown bag at the bottom of the cache container full of water absorbing substrate to keep the books dryer.
DO NOT OPEN IT.
DO NOT TAKE IT OUT.
DO NOT EAT IT! not that any of you would.

Thank you for playing my cache! I hope you enjoy the beauty of one of my favourite places!! Please let me know in your log if the cache needs maintenance.

DIRECTIONS(if you want'em):To find this cache go down the steel stairs, take the trail you are facing at the bottom of the stairs and follow the base of the cliff until you find the beginning of the White trail which will take you DOWN to the Red and purple trail junction. Take the Red trail DOWN. The cache is less than 100 meters from the red trail and less than 50 meters from an unmarked path that splits off the red trail. The cache location can be seen from the unmarked path framed between two large trees with meter long wounds about 3 to 4 meters up the trunk.

Entomologically minded? Some of the mosquito species down here are Ochlerotatus japonicus, Oc. solicitans, Oc. canadensis and Aedes vexans.
