I had originally planned to hide this cache to celebrate Dyngus Day back in April, but I kept putting it off until just now - procrastination at its finest.
Anyway, this cache commerates Dyngus Day, the polish holiday following easter. Several old traditions include the young polish girls hitting the boys with pussywillow plants and the boys would squirt/splash the girls with water. Crazy stuff, I know.
Other activities include being merry at local establishments and the like.
The cache contains a logbook and small pencils. Still bring your own pen/pencil.
There are a few places to park, I recommend N 42° 54.457 W 078° 46.857, use your own judgment. As always have fun and Happy Caching.
While here check out the "OLD" cemetery nearby, gates are usually locked, but you can still read some of the "OLD" headstones from outside the cemetery.
