Woods across from 76 East Mahwah Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430. Park in one of the small dirt pull-offs at the side of the road. No Water or Bathroom on premises. However, these can be found around the corner on Airmont Avenue at the corner of Airmount Road and Airmont Avenue:Fountain Water: N41° 05.488’/W074° 07.559’.Portable Toilets at: N41° 05.500’/W074° 07.598’ and N41° 05.432’/W074° 07.592’

ROCKET MAN
“Houston…we’ve got a problem.” It’s seems that Rocket Man was returning from a secret scientific mission when his automatic guidance system drifted out of alignment, and he lost communication with Ground Control. Rocket Man is an Adventurer, a Hero, and a Survivor. Despite these malfunctions, Rocket Man has managed to re-enter earth’s atmosphere and land safely. NASA has calculated that Rocket Man is now far from the originally planned recovery area. However, they have not yet pinpointed his exact location. It is known that Rocket Man has a logbook and choice specimens from his space journey aboard his rocket, “GALAXY.” Underground rumors have it that he may have touched down in the woods in a little town called “Mahwah, NJ.” NASA is calling all geocachers to help find Rocket Man so that emergency preparations for his pick-up can begin. Searchers can log their sightings of Rocket Man into the NASA Center at www.geocaching.com. Code Word: GCJCWA.
Cache can only fit small items. Please replace Official Logbook, Stash Note, Rite-in-the-Rain Pen, and pencils inside cache on top. (They are all in one Ziploc bag.) Please twist-lock cache lid before re-hiding. Size of cache container: 7”H x 3 ½” W. Original Cache has assorted items for children and adults. SPECIAL GIFT FOR FIRST TO SIGN LOGBOOK.
