How Geocaching Works
Hertel Field is the name of the baseball diamond at Wartburg College.
Hertel field is named after Elmer Hertel. The late Elmer Hertel, chaired the biology department at Wartburg and was a coach and athletic director from 1934 to 1976.
This cache is a Rubbermaid container. It was initially stocked with beads, pins, a blinker, golf tees, a coaster, and a nightlight, all from Wartburg College. I would encourage those who find it to trade in some Luther College paraphernalia.
Congratulations to toscinia for being the first to find this cache.
