<A HREF="http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=24f372a2-0cda-41b9-a96a-9a08154d1ec2"> Xaa</a> was very fast to grab the hiker from <A HREF="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCNARC"> (GCNARC) </a>
The hiker is always on the move, it just rests once in a while in a cache. I neglected this table for a while but today I found some time to update all this and gosh, what a traveller is this guy. Unfortunately not all rides are as well documented but that's one of the advantages of hitching a hike ;)
Until now it had the following rides:
1 20010901 GC8C9 cache was freed
2 20010903 Boyscout offered Hitchhiker 42 a nice evening on the couch
20010904 GC81C dropped at the Boyscout cache
3 20010904 after only a short while Ralph picked up the hiker
20010905 GC361 quickly the hiker moved to the Hifertheem-cache
20010906 Last confirmation of the hiker's location by two witnesses
4 20010909 The hiker is reported missing. There is proof DOC took the hiker.
5 20010922 DOC left the hiker at the First BeNeLux Geocaching event where Hawkeyes took it to leave it in another cache.
20010929 GC12db Hawkeyes placed the HH42 at Kaplaarzen. Kaplaarzen is a quite often frequented cache so people who want to press their luck have to hurry
6 20011009
20011019
GC2153 Zuurtje took the cache from Kaplaarzen and will place it at the JOTI eventcache.
7 20011021
GC2520 Dennis Bisseling found the cache by accident while enjoying a perfect coffee. The hiker had a ride to Death Valley. At the time the hiker was placed the cache was so new that it was not yet on the website.
8 20011103
A geocaching team (Brazil, Chief Joseph en Megaheks) took the hiker from Death Valley. The members of team were the first to log this cache.
20011111
GC22B6 From death valley the next hike was to GC22B6 where team Brazil and team Bezemsteel left the HH42 for the next one to give a ride.
9 20011124
Today the hiker showed up at PIM's
20011129
GC1B73 The HH42 was dropped at 'Loonse en Drunense Duinen' (GC1B73)
10 20011204
20010113
GC878 The cache was taken from its temporary host by cypher and travelled all the way to Germany. It is in Drusus' cache now. The next finder needs te do some serious puzzling...

Blinky Bill took the cache home from Drusus and dropped it at "The Caves Cache" a multicache by Blinky himself.
Blinky helped the hiker to get on the move again from this (I guess) terribly difficult cache and relocated the HH42 to Trinkers Wahn.

This site must have been pretty comfortable or very far off the beaten track as it took the HH42 almost a year to move off again. Happy Easter!

Being lost for a while the hiker moved from Happy Easter to Kunst und Löcher leaving some joy in cachers hearts.

The hiker seems to like being under cover it seems as it suddenly appears at Trierer Augenscheiner only to be moved to Finland (while being spotted in between caches) He ended up in Laitakari.

Back from the trip to Finland the HH42 is moved back to Germany where it is logged some times without telling where it is. Some pictures of sightings are in the logs but I guess that's not where the hiker stays long enough to be tracked down. On December 21st the cache seems to be seen at Top Technology where it receives a lot of visitors. It must have gotten a nice job there ;)

Yippie! The hiker is still alive and kicking. Epaphras has reported a sighting. Still at Stormies place. This is a request to all cachers to help the Hiker to go back on the move again. Do whatever it takes, have therapy sessions, use your cunning to lure him...
In any case: Be nice to Stormy, his employer and host.

After a while the cache has been moved from TT again and spotted at the blue sea. It seems that 1000 was the correct answer to the question to get the hiker moving again. With an extended log so lots to be discovered.

The hiker has been spotted in a Greek restaurant. I wonder if the hiker is trying the food of his next destination...

The hiker came to one of his most favorite spots where due to the nature of his existence he will never really belong. The Regular's Table. This of course gives him a good opportunity to get a ride to one of the nice places where he can pickup another ride. Thanks to sasafly for the maintenance.

Sasafly placed the cache in "Lostplace: Blücher-Kaserne Hemer" A nice place to have a party. The soldiers are gone and they usually leave large open spaces behind. GC19BAF
GC1DJ4D
This cache is crowded with other trackable items so if you like those: this is the place to be. The hiker likes meeting with all these travellers I guess

GC17BYW
Another sort of TB and other trackables hotel as far as I understand the page. Come and get it!

GC1KFG6
A hard cache that has a difficult puzzle to solve and tough terrain to find the cache but you'll get a double reward!

GC1QFY0
After a nice meeting with a lot of geocache fanatics the cache was moved to GC1KFG6. But not for long! Boa fought against the snow and grabbed the hiker to give him a warm shelter at his home.

...
The hiker is putting up his thumb right now, trying to see more of the world.

Found it in the cache "GC1RDJC - Latijn Dilemma 50 v.chr." and decided to take it along (it didn't really fit very well in the small hole of GC1RDJC, so it's safer here with me). I will drop it probably somewhere in a MultiCache in Eindhoven.

Went caching today and moved it to GC1RDJC, but since today I didn't see "multi+regular" together :-( I decided to leave it here, and have it picked up by GeoMisty who was joining me for caches today.

Shoot... . Slarti and I where sure that we'd be able to grab this one. Unfortunately, we did not interpret the title and the logs correctly . Bummer!!! Especially since this one would be THE cache find for The Crew of Forty-Two (Slartibartfast42, Fantus, Jtc-2fast4u, Gastcacher Bart, Sha1Tan, Eciruam). Now we'll have to wait for Xaa to drop it of... Hope this will be soon (and preferably in WEB4 ).

And this is a chance that I won't miss... so it has left the cache already. I will drop it in another cache, not sure when the right cache will appear. It will be a multi-cache, it will probably be on a day with more than 1 multi-cache, and I will place a note when I dropped it.
