I placed this geocache here with my brother (Brandon). We used to bring my dog, Rocky here all the time. It was his favorite spot to come on hot days and jump in the water. Sadly he passed away in January of 2010. I thought this would be a good place to put a geocache in is memory. As of now there’s not many geocaches in Mattoon and it’s a spot not many people know about since the road leads to a dead end. This is my first hide so if the coordinates are off let me know.
