Tato cache Vás zavede k jedné z nejhezcích a nejstarších prehrad na uzemí CR, ležící na rece Doubrave nad obcí Parížov v malebném kraji pod Železnými horami. Rezervujte si však dostatek casu, prístup není tak snadný jak by se mohlo zdát!

Podmetem k výstavbe prehrady byly velké vody z let 1885, 1888 a 1897 které patrily tehdy k nejvetším na Doubrave. Výstavba probíhala v období let 1908 až 1913. Gravitacní prehrada z lomového zdiva má tvar základního statického trojúhelníku se skloneným návodním lícem. Hráz je klenbového tvaru, ale s úcinkem klenby nebylo v navrhu pocítáno. Rozmery hráze byly posuzovány z hlediska pusobení váhy zdiva, nejvetšího vodního tlaku a s ohledem na vztlakové pomery. Aby bylo zabráneno prusakum vody do telesa hráze, byl návodní líc opatren dvojitou cementovou omítkou s draselným mýdlem a dvojnásobným siderostenovým náterem. Uvnitr zdeného telesa byly uloženy svislé drenážní roury, odvádející vodu do chodby u základových výpustí. Pata i boky hráze jsou utesneny jílem. This cache will introduce into the most beautiful and oldest water dam in the Czech Republic, situated in Doubrava river close to village Parizov in picturesque area under Zelezne hory.

The reason why this water dam was built was high water in 1885, 1888 and 1897.At that time the biggest on Doubrava river. Construction was running from 1908 until 1913.Gravity dam from quarry stone has a shape of basic static triangle with sloping upstream face. Basically, it's a constant angle arch dam but the effect of the angle arch was not except in the draft. The measurement of the dam was judged from view of the masonry weight, the biggest water pressure and regarding lift ratio. The upstream face was accommodated with double cement rendering with potash soap and double siderostenic paint in order to stop seepage dam. There were vertical drainage pipes in the middle of the masonry body, which took the water into the hall alongside of bottom outlet. Heel and sidewalls of the dam were sealed with clay.
