Geocache Description:

Hidden in the wilds of Stewart Park is a cache full of stars.

Stewart Park is at the base of Cayuga Lake. Some of it is nice and breezy but the place you’re going has bugs, swamps, rot, skunk cabbage, more bugs, muck, and huge logs. Be sure to wear bug repellant! If it's wet you will ruin shoes and lose a lot of blood to mosquitos. The contents of this cache were originally twenty beautiful hand-painted wooden stars back in 2001. This cache was created by a mother (46 yrs) & daughter (10 yrs) team who cut the stars on a scrollsaw and then painted them. Now there's all sorts of stuff in the cash but we encourage you to follow the starry theme. We don’t agree on how difficult this cache is: daughter says that if she were trying to find this one she would be annoyed because it is rather hard and the surroundings aren’t really a dream come true. Mother says it’s about a 1.5/1 or a 1.5/2, depending on the season. The park is a great place for picnics, swinging, and duck watching. It has a working merry-go-round and a sprinkler for cooling off. a????
