This cache of the evening (night cache) will take you on a 1 mile (round trip) stroll of the Jersey Devil's playground. The coordinates above are parking coordinates! Look for the firetacks to guide you to the cache.
As we got out of the cachemobile, we noticed what a nice wide (albeit barricaded) road lay ahead. Undaunted (but concerned) by the barricade, we strolled down the road looking for just the right fire break.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we spotted a suspicious fire break on the right! As we roamed down the break, we noticed that it seemed to go left and right and even cross itself in sections!
We carried on and, after a few turns and the forest fast closing in on us, found a place that fit the description overhead from a local park ranger speaking of a devil sighting. We marked the spot and looked around diligently, but to no avail.
Guess we'll have to try again...
