Geocache Description:

Bring your own pencil or pen for a log-only cache. This is a peculiar little micro cache hidden in an odd way, but not so odd if you are a Sandy Creek Cowboy. The hidey hole is where Carpenter from Hell hides his snuff so that his sweetie can’t catch him using it.

How much do you know about cowboys? One thing you should know is that they hate to do any sort of work that can’t be done from horseback. Fact is that they aren’t all that happy about work they can do from horseback. Don’t ask a cowboy to use a pick or shovel unless you’re looking for a graduate degree in how to gripe and complain. Mostly cowboys see a shovel as a good thing to lean on or, at best, a way to dispose of horse poop without getting their cowboy boots all messy. When the supper bell rings a cowboy will drop a pick or shovel so fast that the darned thing is left hanging in the air. That’s a good thing because the cowboy doesn’t have to bend over and pick it up next morning. Here’s your chance to hang out near Sandy Creek Ranch and learn how to use a shovel just like a real cowboy. While you are doing that you can practice up on talking like a real cowboy. You know, just gripe and complain a lot. Y’all come y’ here? The Sandy Creek Cowboys,Carpenter from Hell, DennisB, and Harmon of SD Rowdies
