Geocache Description:

Sometimes a little diversity is a good thing...

In the Palo Alto Baylands, open 8am to sunset. Great place for a bike ride.

A typical micro hide. Log only, bring a pen. No need to step off the trail.

Over the years there has been some concern about the wasps that sometimes are present. It was best said by an early finder: "Those wasps are paper wasps. Unlike hornets or yellowjackets they leave people alone and don't get aggressive or defensive. They may sting if their nests are damaged, but if you leave the nest alone you have nothing to fear. They do kill and eat pests such as flys and destructive beetles and caterpillars so consider these little wasps the good guys!
