Geocache Description:

Please cache responsibly and select a designated geocacher.

This is the fourth cache in a series designed to pay homage to the long and beautiful tradition of beer brewing in St. Louis. When completed, the Brewhaha series will progress in geographical order that will also be an enjoyable bike ride! We hope you enjoy the tour! Drink responsibly. Permission to place this cache was granted by Lauren P., Manager of Urban Chestnut.  When John Adam Lemp settled down in St. Louis back in 1838 he began a long tradition of beer brewing in the city. Underground cave systems provided an ideal temperture and environment for the Lemp Brewery to expand and become the nation's first brewery to distribute its product coast to coast. The craft remains alive and well today.
