This place i found quite by accident about 7 years ago . I was
looking for a place to take beginners to abseil and rock climb in
the area .
As is turns out this particular spot has marked climbs with
bolts already in the walls.Till this day have know idea who put
them there or what they are called .
Now to the fun part.... There are a couple of ways to get to the
cache. The most direct way requires either rock scrambling skill. or
if you have the equipment a short abseil.its about 15 metres high.
( and yes the cache is at the bottom of the cliff )
If this is not your cup of tea ,you can enter via Lapstone place
,there is a track on the left at the end of the street which will
give access to the gully on your right.
It will be about 400mm walk, which will take you to the bottom of
the cliff line.
Do not try the abseil unless you have the proper training or
equipment.Do be careful with the rock scramble.
when accessing this cache the direct way.walk through reserve
until you see a small gate. there is a narrow gully which steps
down to the left only 20 metres away.this is the rock scramble
spot.
The numbers 4 - 8 - 6 will come in handy. and they are in no
particular order.
