Geocache Description:

The Disorganization of MidSouth Geocachers has been interested in the Flash Mob phenomenon since first learning of it during the 2004 presidential campaign of a certain fellow from Vermont - no, neither Ben nor Jerry. We believe this to be a good opportunity to experience the Flash Mob in all its oddity.

Only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present and sign the log sheet DURING this time to claim the event. That's why the Difficulty is a 2.
Please bring your own pen to help speed things along.

The event will begin precisely at 11:00am on Saturday, Nov 10th.

Bitbrain's backpack placed on ground zero will signal the start of the event!!!

At that moment, the cachers in attendence will approach the zero-point and receive a log sheet, a participation certificate and the meal.

At 11:10am, we will all gather on the dais for a group picture, make sure everyone has turned in their log sheet and conduct the drawing for FTF honors -- that's right, grand prize is FTF honors. w00t!

The event will end precisely at 11:15am. At this time, cachers will disperse and leave no trace.

The Disorganization of MidSouth Geocachers recommends grabbing some grub nearby and heading out for a day of caching, but it's up to you. As stated, the event is over at 11:15am.

Everyone who attends a WWFM event (and there are 81 of them now) will be entered into a contest to win a prize. You will need to listen to PodCacher.com to see if your name is called as a winner. Sonny & Sandy of PodCacher.com will do the drawing on a show sometime after Nov 24. If a name is called and they don't hear from the chosen cacher within 2 weeks, that cacher will lose out and S&S will pick another name!
Hershey's Kisses will be distributed as the official event meal.
It should seem that the mob suddenly appears out of thin air. Cachers should not pre-gather and should arrive at the site on time from many different directions. Use your cache-ninja skillz.
The Disorganization of MidSouth Geocachers has humble beginnings as the host of the first MidSouth Earth Day CITO on 4/29/2003. At that time, the disorg was a fledgling known as MidSouth Geocachers Anonymous. By the time Earth Day 2004 came around, the Disorganization of MidSouth Geocachers was fully fledged. Recent years has seen the Disorganization of MidSouth Geocachers take a back seat to other, more organized groups. Well, buddy, the Disorganization is back and another Hotwing Hangover event is coming soon!
