Geocache Description:

A quick little PAG at the entrance to so many more caches, why would you leave?

This is a quick and simple little micro to bring newcomers and oldtimers to the Gilley Tract Preserve and all the wonderful caches placed in this area. There is plenty of parking here and if you decide to tackle other area caches bring along your hiking shoes, your mountain bike or even your favorite horse. This tract is run by SWFWMD and located in eastern Manatee County, it is a massive nature preserve that few people know about. It is open to the public from sunrise to sunset and available for hiking, mountain biking (no motorized vehicles), fishing and equestrian use. There are 12 miles of trails scattered within the 5,800 acres located around Gilley Creek.

This cache is a micro and only contains a log book but if you don’t bring your own pen you might find one close by. Welcome to Nowhere and enjoy the trip.
