WHY?
We have a secret!
Other people walking through the
parks are just enjoying the view. We on the other hand know that
just behind that rock is a geocache. However, when we go about our
daily lives how do we know if that person who just walked by us is
a geocacher? Now all you have to do is attend the Meet and Greet at
Doffer's restaurant and you can put faces to names and food to
mouth.
This will be a chance to extend a
welcome to all new cachers in the area, and there seems to be a lot
of them.
11:00 - Meet and
Greet
12:00 - Lunch
1:00 - Regift Draw
1:30 - Let's get together and go caching! (or stay warm and
chat)
Those new to caching are more than
welcome to spend the afternoon (on or off the trails) with some of
the more experienced cachers, to learn how to use your GPS or show
off what you know. We will have a couple of extra GPS's on hand if
you have not acquired one yet.

event there will be a select luncheon menu available. i:e;
Munchies, Salads, Sandwiches, Hamburgers as well as a kids
menu.
Don't Forget Kids Eat Free On Saturdays
Until 4:00pm! ( 1 per adult meal )
Each cacher or
family/group that attends is asked to bring a WRAPPED gift of any size to "regift" to another
cacher. Your "regift" can be an actual regift (which is always fun)
or if you got everything you wanted you can purchase something.
Gifts can be large or small, expensive or inexpensive. It's up to
you what you regift, you can include a note or make it
anonymous!
Children can
regift too! Please bring the same amount of children's gifts as you
have children, ie: 2 children = 2 gifts(under $5.00 please). The
children's gifts should be UNWRAPPED,
this way the children can choose what they
want.
Great News - Bring your WiFi
Laptops, Pocket PC's and Palm Pilots because Doffer's offer free
WiFi, woo hoo! When you arrive just ask Geogranny for the
password.
