This multi-cache takes you for a pleasant stroll around Ramapo Lake. The cache name comes from Rotten Pond which is one of the historic names of this lake. Some historians believe that the name came from the Dutch word, rote, which meant rat(or muskrat).
This is a popular destination for hikers and fishermen and most of the stages are in high traffic areas, so be careful while searching. The clues are pretty specific.
Its a very easy walk, mostly along flat, gravel roads. A nice hike for the family. Bring your fishing rod and a picnic lunch.
