This is not a quick park and grab, though it shouldn't take you very long. This is not recommended for very young children, or the elderly, for you have to cross a steep ravine using a fallen tree. If you are not very adept at balancing, this may not be the one for you!
UPDATE: The tree has been removed that was originally used for the bridge, you will have to find your own way to navigate the ravine!
My family found this fallen tree awhile back next to a park we play at, and decided to turn it into a geocache! You should have little to no problem discovering ground zero, or where the geocache is hidden, it wil be obvious once you get close. The fun will be the adventure of making your way to ground zero. As stated above, you will need to cross a tree bridge over a creek/ravine, and hike through foliage that has thorns and ivy, and be alert to how you navigate the terrain. There is NOT a worn in path or trail to follow, so I have included a few waypoints to help you get headed in the right direction. The first point is where we park, which should prove very easy to find. The second is where the tree bridge is located to cross the ravine, please note my gps was jumping around a little from all the cover overhead, so please forgive me if it is off a little bit, but I am sure you will be able to see it clearly when you make your way there. This container does not have the greatest weather resistant lid in the world, so please put the cache back propped the way you discover it to keep it nice and dry. We had a blast making this cache, so we hope you will enjoy this more adventurous cache as much as we did creating it!
