Near the shore of Lake Wintergreen, in West Rock Park, Hamden, Conn. Close to trail, but on steep slope.
The theme of this cache is optical disks for music, movies, software, or games. The initial cache lasted 10 years before it was finally soaked. It was cleaned and re-stocked in April 2013 with a couple music CDs and a handful of movies. Hopefully good for another 10 years! The cache is in a large tupperware container with a red lid.
Park at N 41 deg 21.600 min, W 72 deg 57.895 min. There is a trail that goes all the way around the lake. It will take you fairly close to the cache site.
The park is a beautiful place to take the family for a walk, old and young alike. Most of the trail to the cache (about 1/2 mile of it) is walker friendly and accessible to just about anyone. It's only the last 300 feet or so that makes it a 3 for terrain. Also, it's worth the trip just to see what Main Street in Hamden is like. You'll be surprised!
