This challenge is similar to KB’s Ten Centuries - Do It Your Way Challenge, but I wanted to specifically recognize our Minnesota puzzle cachers. If you qualify for this Challenge, you also qualify for KB’s challenge and he is the one who inspired me.
I know that this cache will be greeted with a certain amount of disdain by some of my fellow cachers who seek and hide mostly traditional caches. In particular my friend Ruderat.
But the reality is that Minnesota contains one of the top puzzle caching communities in the United States, if not the World. Pfalstad recently started a Topic on the MnGCA forum that discuses the density of puzzle caches in the Twin Cities metro. We are in the top two or three cities in the USA for puzzle density and will probably soon pass Seattle as number #1.
With all these puzzle caches comes a lot of puzzle cachers. In Minnesota there is an abundance of great puzzle cache hiders and Seekers both. Two of theses cachers; FSU Noles & Pfalstad are ranked in the top 5 in the world with around 2,500 puzzle finds each. There are others in Minnesota that have already found more than 1,000 puzzle caches, like Quilting is fun too, lagrac and Sharknose Bunnies. But many more will be joining the club very soon ...Puzzle cachers like: timewellspent , I Spy., sparkyfry, maryufaust, Pippin and Merry, Hal-oween, seeingitdifferent, KRedEP, rickrich, fish2007, DeltaMikeAlpha, Iron Man Dan and others I'm sure I missed.
So, I created this Challenge cache, to provide a bell ringer for all those who have, or soon will be logging their 1,000 puzzle find. I think it won’t be long before we will also need a 2K Puzzle Club Challenge, but I will leave that to someone else!
